Multi Agency Training – Working Together to Safeguard Children (Two Day Training)
This course is a two day workshop aimed at staff and volunteers who work directly with children and families, and would normally have statutory responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children.
The course is structured in such a way that it provides an opportunity for participants to explore the ‘bigger picture’ – roles and responsibilities – in which they work and then goes on to look at some of the blocks to effective working – consent, confidentiality and values.
By the end of the course the participants will have surfaced many of the working barriers. The final afternoon session, on day two, gives them the opportunity to reflect on their own practice through the use of individual plans and evaluation.
