Child Protection for Sessional Workers such as Under Fives Nursery Staff or After School Club Staff (Half Day / Evening Training Courses)
These courses equip participants to operate with young children in nursery or similar pre-school settings with appropriate training given for child protection. They are also ideal for After School Club stuff who see children on a sessional basis – rather than all day every day. The basic course is designed for those with no, or little, previous knowledge of child protection issues. Child minders could find this course useful.
The second course is designed for those in a managerial or supervisory capacity who need to be aware of issues surrounding staff and recruitment, as well as their own roles and responsibilities. Access to the second course should only be given after attending the basic level training.
