Workshop Information

Our bullying sessions explore the importance of respecting others, even when they are very different, or make different choices or have different preferences or beliefs.

Our sessions help children discover practical steps they can take in a range of different contexts to improve or support respectful relationships.

Topics Covered
  • Identifying different types of bullying (including cyberbullying);
  • The impact of bullying;
  • Responsibilities of bystanders (primarily reporting bullying to an adult);
  • How to get help;
  • What a stereotype is, and how stereotypes can be unfair, negative or destructive.

Healthy relationships & resilience

Workshop Information

Our Child-on-Child Abuse & relationships sessions explore the importance of permission-seeking and giving in relationships with friends, peers and adults. We will also talk about how people sometimes behave differently online, including by pretending to be someone they are not.

Our workshops help children discover what sorts of boundaries are appropriate in friendships with peers and others and will empower them to keep themselves and others free from harm.

  • Laws relating to sharing nudes & semi-nudes;
  • Understanding of what sexual bullying is;
  • Understanding of what sexual violence and harassment are;
  • How to stay in control of our online life;
  • How to access support both on and offline.

Emotional Wellbeing

Workshop Information

Our emotional wellbeing sessions explore mental wellbeing as a normal part of daily life, in the same way as physical health.

We will identify that there is a normal range of emotions (e.g., happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, nervousness) and scale of emotions that all humans experience in relation to different experiences and situations.

  • Understanding what is mental health;
  • Understanding the different emotions humans experience;
  • Being able to recognise their emotions;
  • Appropriate vocabulary to talk about their own and others’ feelings;
  • Understanding of appropriate, proportionate behaviour and responses.

Online Safety

Workshop Information

Our Online Safety sessions support pupils with their digital literacy and positive decision making. Online safety workshops inform and empower with the knowledge and tools of how to keep safe online.

Topics Covered
  • Understanding of how to report concerns online;
  • Online Safety films relevant for age range;
  • Clarification of personal information including privacy settings within games and within apps;
  • How to respond to cyber-bullying;
  • Explanation of grooming and how it may occur online;
  • Practical activities and group tasks to promote their own knowledge and development.
