Amy Hanson

Associate Consultant

Amy Hanson works both within Local Authorities and as an Independent Social Worker. Having qualified in 2010 at The University of Birmingham, Amy has undertaken a number of different Social Work positions within children services and for the last five years has undertaken a variety of management roles including; managing a specialist Domestic Abuse team, MASH team, Court team and Child Protection team.

Amy has extensive court work experience within the child protection arena and has been involved in the review process for child deaths within London, working with other multi-agency professionals to determine how agencies can work better together to safeguard children.

Amy has a key interest in supporting children and young people to have their voice heard and to ensure that children are at the heart of practice.
