I believe in giving a everyone the opportunity to learn the skills to keep safe. After 9 years as a primary school educator, I understand the issues and complexities that pupils and staff face in the education sector and I have a passion for change, as well as a drive to ensure that the children of today have a safer future.

Throughout my career, I have been responsible for managing and supporting children and families but at the forefront has been the devotion to understanding that every family, every child and every carer is different and has different needs. Having worked as a SENCo, I have a deeper understanding of how children with special educational needs and from diverse backgrounds could become more vulnerable and I strive to give educators the tools and resources to keep them safe.

I consider myself to be a people-person. I want to share my knowledge to allow others to become experts in the field of safeguarding so that they can provide quality-first care for those they work with. My aim is to empower others to make the world a safer place for all.
