Founder
Sue spent most of her professional career as a secondary school teacher in London, with her last role in senior management for one of Cambridgeshire’s most successful Village Colleges.
Sue was Chair of Governor’s for a large Hertfordshire primary school for four years. With this wealth of experience, she moved into an advisory teacher role with the flagship Child Protection Service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
In 2002, Sue set up ECP Safeguarding, training any practitioners who work with children from early years to sixth form colleges. Sue went on to lecture at three universities, work as an Investigating Officer for Cambridgeshire Children’s Services, become a trainer assessor, a multi-agency trainer for a number of safeguarding boards and an ambassador for CEOP.
Sue has consulted for one of the largest chains of nursery provision in the United Kingdom and has been a regular conference speaker in the world of Child Protection. In addition, Sue has worked as a counsellor for Childline and Childline Schools service and an adult counsellor for NAPAC.
